Overview
The DSR02 DVB Receiver offers all of the features of DSR01, adding Conditional Access capability ( CAM), Flash audio storage, ASI transport stream output and Gigabit IP for transmission of much larger amounts of data such as video distribution, IP TV, DVB-T or IP data transfer. With its high sensitivity, capacity and effficiency, the DSR is well suited for flexible and reliable broadcast applications.
By using the latest Codecs, you can significantly reduce your space segment costs without sacrificing quality - in fact Broadcast quality stereo is now possible in a 128K channel with short, consistent and adjustable delay.
Audio for each of the two possible stereo channels is output via balanced analog, AES/EBU digital, X.21 MPEG interface or ASI transport stream.
RDS data can be filtered and passed to serial or TCP/IP interfaces.
An advanced satellite audio, RF signal and RDS data monitoring system generates contact closures and selectable warning messages that can be output via TCP SNMP, Email and Serial.
Flexible interfacing make it easy to connect to and control the DSR02 via serial COM port, or using the LAN-interface with TCP/IP and SNMP. Isolated inputs and relay outputs offer high flexibility for hardware interfacing and remote control of external devices. The TCP/IP port can be used to control eight external devices over satellite and to receive program audio as a backup if satellite link is down.

Hardware
The DSR02 comes in a 19" by 1 R/U case. A 32-Bit ARM7-based microcontroller not only controls all available interfaces, but is also responsible for data processing and management. An additional 32-Bit floating-point DSP handles signal-related processing (e.g., filtering, equalization, amplification) for maximum signal quality.
Unbalanced RF-inputs and MPX-outputs as well as balanced analog and digital (AES/EBU) outputs are available.
All settings are stored in non-volatile memory. Firmware can be easily updated via TCP/IP. All features are controllable by SNMP.
TCP/IP Interface
With its integrated 'Net PC' module - the DSR02 can be configured and controlled through the internet. Each of your satellite receivers can then be addressed individually.
Software
PC-software is included for easysetup and monitoring. All settings in the DSR02 are available from the graphical user interface. Monitoring (according to BS.412-9) and data logging can easily be accomplished.
Integrated Network Control and Monitoring
The DSR02 can receive commands and relay closures from our inexpensive ES01 Network Remote Control gateway and can also integrate directly with the gateway to act as the Master network monitoring receiver.
